Just like some of the most loved boutique compression pedals out there, the Tone City Comp Engine does its job via a genuine OTA (Operational Transconductance Amplifier) design teamed up with stripped-down yet highly intuitive tone controls to deliver a broad range. Surprisingly affordable, this slimline stompbox has a true bypass circuit and serves as the perfect bread-and-butter comp for any playing style.
